    These are the current rules as of  5-8-08
                Outlaw Mad Dawgs General Rules
    There will be NO Car & Driver Entry Fee and Driver will get 3 crew members passes.
    General Admission will be $15.00
    There will be 3 rounds of Qualifying at Farmington and Mooresville races.
    All Door Car event qualifying - 3:00, 4:30 and 6:00 p.m.
              Regular tracks points race events - 2:30, 4:00 and 5:30 pm
              All drivers will drawn for qualifying order and who they will run with during qualifying.
               You will also draw for what  you'll first go out in. Then alternate lanes after that.
               We'll have an Official from IHRA weighing and keeping a check on all cars.
    *You MUST make first round in order to collect your First Round Loser Money!
     
    General Race Procedure:
    1. Car must be staged under it's own power in the first round in order to qualify for the first round losers mon

    General Rules for Outlaw MAD Dawgs

              Specifications:
    Chassis: 7.49 & under must use full frame meeting SFI 25-1E Specifications. 7.50 & above must use approved IHRA Comp. Specs. 25.1E type funny car cage required on all cars. Full body cars only (hood and doors must be accessible).
    Tires: Anything type of Tire will be legal.  Street tire or slicks. If the competition gets to be one sided, then we'll go to the "Street Tire" rule.
    Brakes: required
              Blankets will be mandatory (Must be pulled up Tight!!!) must be IHRA approved, must
    not interfere with timing system. (any suspect run will be reviewed and disallowed if incremental. times detect a major difference in vehicle's performance.) This will be checked closely at the scales and staging lanes.
    Also, all rocker panels must be of legal height off the ground.
     
    Carburetor: No restriction. May deduct 75 lbs for single carb
    Muffler: None required.
              Exhaust- NO ZOOMIES
    Transmission: Must be Converter driven unless naturally aspirated, transbrake acceptable. Must be SFI approved.
    Headlights: No front lights required.
    Turbo: Not Allowed.
    Blower Cars: Overdrive limitations: The maximum supercharger allowed will be 1471.
    The maximum overdrive on any Hemi Head or High Helix supercharged combinations with billet heads and billet blocks will be at 21%.Conventional cast blocks with billet heads or conventional heads will run at 40%.Maximum supercharge overdrive limits is 50% for standard roots. Supercharged entries 4.90 rear end ratio (Final drive maximum). Hemi’s run a 4.30 rear end ratio and are limited to 3 forward gears. The maximum length from the front of the supercharger drive pulley to the leading edge of the rotor is 15 inches. Offset drive pulleys may not be used to add to the number listed above. The use of spacers, modified cases or attaching methods to move the supercharger rearward in excess of the specified amount is prohibited. A belt guard shielding both fuel and oil lines is mandatory. Electronic fuel injection, nitrous oxide, intercoolers and variable speed devices are prohibited. The maximum height of the injection system may not exceed the height of the roof. The injector scoop may not be more than 16 inches forward of the center of the front cylinder or 10 inches behind the center of rear cylinder.OEM manufacture’s supercharger case mandatory. Billet cases prohibited. The top opening may not exceed 11 inches in length and 5 inches in width.

     
    Spoilers: In an effort to increase car counts all spoiler restrictions have been lifted. This includes restrictions on molded spoilers and weight additions. However, track management reserves the right to make adjustments and/or weight additions at any time if it is determined to be in the best interest of the competition.
    Computers: Onboard diagnostic computers allowed.
    Electrical: All cars must use battery and starter.
    Safety: On-board fire extinguishing system required-5 lb. min. Protective Pants & Top SFI 3.2A-5. Full face Snell helmet. Neck collar. Gloves. Window net-SFI 27-1. Seat belt, shoulder harness SFI 16-1 (within 2 year expiration date).
    Fuel: Limit one power additive. No gas/alcohol with NOS. No nitro methane.
    Weight: See weight limit charts below. All ballast/weight must be securely attached/bolted.
               
              Any vehicle with a 650 cubic inch or larger engine must weigh a minimum of 2,400 lbs.
