Doug Leazer, Tommy Greer, Mitchell Harkey, Terry Morton and Chase Sandefur All Post Race One Wins

Doug Leazer drove his Gibbs Race Cars/ Dirty Mo Dragster to the race one TOP Eliminator win over trucking company owner Vance Houston in his Race Tech Dragster. Chuck Martin of Connelly Springs, NC wrapped up yet another Dirty MO TOP Eliminator championship with his WSC Racing Engines Race Tech Dragster.

 

Tommy Greer knew what he had do by winning Foot Brake race one of the night defeating Ernie Humes III. He took the lead going into the race of the night, but a third round loss ended hopes of a championship, as the veteran James Lockhart drove Don Anderson's Oldsmobile to a runner-up performance in Foot Brake race two.

 

The unstoppable Mitchell Harkey picked up his fourth Allied Bearings Junior Dragster win in race one by defeating by defeat Mitchell Flynt. This all enroute to a THIRD Consectitive Dirty MO Junior Dragster championship.

 

Good friends Chase Sandefur and Scottie Keller ran each other in the race one SCC Motorcycle finals. A little friendly flip of the coin decided the race on the starting line.

 

 

Terry Morton of Kannapolis, NC drove his fast Mustang to race one Ace High Perf. Real Street win over Winston-Salem, NC's Colt Buckner's Chevy powered Jaguar. The runner-up finish by Buckner helped him take his third Street champion at three different tracks. Last year Farmington and Piedmont.....and now the "Dirty MO"!

Randy Davis Take "Main" Classic Gear Jammer Win; David Satterfield Scores "Second Chance" Victory

Over 45 Classic Gear Jammers was in the house Saturday night for race number two action. What a show of small block and big block cars dropping the clutch and shifting down the famous dirty MO 1/8th mile. Taking the Classic Gear Jammer "Main Race" win was Randy Davis of Virgilina, VA in his powerful lil '71 Ford Pinto. Davis with his 5 second Ford defeated long time Gear Jammer David Gambrell of Linwood, NC in his "Mad Max" Plymouth Cuda.  David Satterfield of Roxboro, NC drove his '86 Ford Mustang to the Classic Gear Jammer's "Second Chance" race win by defeating Todd Fox of Burnsville, NC in his beautiful '62 Corvette.

Mark "Pork" Jones, Paul Shell, Jr, Noah Strickland,

Barry Jenkins and Chris Myers Take Dirty MO "late..late..late" Final Points Race Victories

Mark "Pork" Jones of East Bend, NC (the other Jones) drove his Hank Thomas Perf. Sunoco Race Fuels/ WSC Racing Engines Dragster to a strange final round win over Dan Malloy of Mooresville, NC in his Race Tech Dragster. Malloy with transmission troubles was unable to keep his car staged and the "Porkster" was declared the winner.

 

In the hotly contested Foot Brake finals former Dirty Mo champion Paul Shell, Jr. of Lexington, NC drove his strong running small block powered Chevy Nova to the win over regining and newly crowned Foot Brake champion James Lockhart of Charlotte, NC. After breaking his OLDS 442 in time runs, the "Ferndale Flyer" Don Anderson load Lockhart his OLDS. The now sixth time Dirty MO champion knew what he had to do as he had to over come the points lead Tommy Greer had going into this final race.   These two drivers just raced, no bull cramp..they just raced. Respect! made this the greatest point’s finish that I have seen in a long, long time and I was proud to have been there. Congas' to our CHAMPION James Lockhart and Tommy Greer a champion too.

 

 

 

Chris Myers of Winston-Salem, NC rode his Suzuki to the SCC night capper Motorcycle victory over newly crowned Dirty MO Motorcycle champion Jeff Heintz of Kannapolis, NC on his Suzuki.

 

 

 

 

   Barry Jenkins drove his Acura Interia to another Ace High Perf. Real Streetpoints race win by defeating the lovely Jenna Thompson of Mooresville, NC in her Merecdes. Jenkins came up second best in the end to Colt Buckner for the Real Street championship.

 

Noah Strickland won his first ever Dirty MO/ Allied Bearing Junior Dragster win in Saturday's late...late....late night Final points race. Noah's competition Matthew Flynt couldn't make the call as he wounded his motor in his semi-final win over newly crowned champion Mitchell Harkey.
