Opening Gaston Used Auto Parts Points Races

Friday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 3rd

The father and son team of Winston-salem, NC's Tommy and Chris Plott doubled up Saturday to post wins in Top Eliminator and Foot Brake divisions. Tommy who is coming off a big opening points race win at the Farm used the Cougar to win after his Dragster broke earlier in time runs. Chris a former Mooresville TOP Eliminator champion also coming off a big win Foot Brake at Costal Plains Dragway took home the Gastom Used Auto Parts opening points race win.

Three time Allied Bearing Junior Dragster champion Mitchell Harkey  looks to be on the way to a fourth title in 2010.  Harkey posted wins on both Friday and Saturday in Allied Bearing Junior action.

Sonya Byrd, wife of former two time Foot Brake champion Tim Byrd drove her Ford Mustang to a first ever Mooresville Real Street division win this past weekend.
