points win Saturday night defeating the “Super Cuda” of Billy Varner, Jr from Stanley, NC. Doss in his newly purchased
Josh Miller Race Tech Dragster used a better reaction to run a 4.75 ET at 144 MPH to defeat the 5.90 ET at 115 MPH
charge of Varner in his Plymouth Cuda. Recent TOP Eliminator winner at Mooresville Dragway Mark “PORK” Jones from
East Bend, NC was the semi-finalist.

Young Gun Tesz Powell of Morganton, NC drove his ’69 Chevy Chevelle to his first Foot Brake Gaston Used Auto Parts points win
of season defeating the veteran David Spaugh of Advance, NC in his Ford Mustang. Spaugh was .007 and Powell was .011 in the
reaction in the finals, with Spaugh breaking out by .007 at the finish and giving young Powell the win. Former Mooresville track
champion Jeff Flood of Farmington, NC was the lone semi-finalist in his new Chevrolet Vega.

The “Chemical Reaction” team of Jeff Houser of Thomasville, NC took home the Allied Bearings Junior Dragster division win
defeating three time Mooresville class champion Mitchell Harley of China Grove, NC. Mitchell had the better reaction but ran too
quick going a 7.94 ET off a 7.98 dial in to Houser’s 7.95 ET off a 7.93 Dial-in run. Justin Edmonds of Statesville, NC winner of the
een Dawg racer class and Charlotte, NC’s Landon Russell was the semi-finalist.

Second generation drag racer Rocky Sidden of Lexington, NC drove his Chevrolet Malibu to the Kooks Headers Real Street class
win over the Ford Mustang of Lexington, NC’s Shannon Justice. Bo Smith of Statesville, NC in his Chevrolet Cameron was the semi-finalist.
Travis Boudreaux of Harrisburg, NC rode his 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa to the SCC Motorcycle class win defeating Chase Sandefur
on his 2005 Suzuki. Scottie Keller of Mooresville, NC on a Kawaski and Ricky Fisher of Kannapolis, NC on his 2004 Suzuki was the semi-finalist.
